In memory of

Cristian Rociu

June 2, 1953 -  March 11, 2019

The family of Cristian Rociu is absolutely heartbroken to announce his sudden passing on Monday March 11, 2019 at the age of 65. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years (Cristina Rociu), his daughters (Andrea Niculae, Simona and Diana Rociu). Amazing grandpa to Isabella and Angelina Williams-Rociu. Father-in-law to Tyrone Williams and Matthew Brown. The youngest of 3 siblings (Valentin and Liliana Rociu). At the age of 38 he brought his family to Canada for a better life. He lived everyday for his family and always worked so very hard to give them everything. He loved to travel and so looked forward to our yearly family vacations. It is very difficult to find words to describe who Cristian was and the impact he had on anyone who was fortunate to have known him. He was the light of our life and will be immensely missed. May he rest in peace and watch over us all just as he cared for us when he was here. We would sincerely like to thank Dr. Michael Kutryk and his team at St. Michael's Hospital for the phenomenal care and compassion they provided our family. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation directed to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit by clicking the Make a Donation button below.

Dear Rociu Family,

We were so blessed to have met Cristian. Although it was just a brief moment but we remembered how happy and funny he was. It was so apparent how much he love and was loved by his family and friends. There was nothing but laughter and smiles from him. There is no doubt how proud he was of his family and how big of an impact he had on his daughters. Each daughter is kind, funny , generous , and full for wits . Although we haven’t had a chance to spend more time with him, but through his amazing daughters we can get a glimpse of what an Awsome man he was. We thank god to have met him and pray god will continue to bless his family. May he Rest In Peace.
