In memory of

Cowan Kue-Hem "梁求謙" Leung

September 16, 1933 -  May 6, 2022

Cowan went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 6, 2022. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila Leung and is survived by his loving children Anna (Lester Chan), William (Carolyn) and Wilson.

Cowan was born in Taishan, Guangdong, China; lived for some years in Hong Kong and at 16 years of age, arrived in Vancouver Canada on May 12, 1950. He took the week-long trip by train to Montreal, where he was reunited with his father, Ying Fow Leung. In Montreal, Cowan attended Baron Byng High School and Concordia and eventually graduated from Electrical Engineering at McGill University. His first job was with Bell Canada.

Cowan was very active in the Montreal Chinese Community and later after moving to Toronto, Ontario in 1980, he also became active in the Chinese Christian community.

Special thanks for the wonderful care provided by Richmond Hill Mon Sheong Long Term Care Centre where Cowan has resided since the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020. In Cowan's memory, donations to the Mon Sheong Foundation would be appreciated.

Please take a moment to sign the guest book for the family. Your love and support during these difficult times are greatly appreciated. According to the family's wishes, please wear mask or face covering when you come in to the funeral service/visitation. Thank You.
