Lola Connie

It is with heavy hearts we share that our precious mother, Concordia (Connie) Omanio Balladares Bautista passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Devoted wife of Cesario Perez Bautista. Beloved mother of Esperanza and Sam Giuga, Lourdes and Stan Chang, Ferdinand and Cher Bautista, Emilio and Paula Bautista. Cherished grandmother of Gianni, Rebecca, Jacob, Pina, Noah, Trevor, Victoria, Jordan and Tyler. Dear sister of Juana Balladares. Also, survived by her brother, Fernando Balladares, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Emilio Balladares and Concordia Bacongalio Omanio and her four siblings, Esidrio, Presentacion, Emilio and Lorenzo. Connie was the fifth of seven children. Connie was a trailblazer, being the first of her family to leave her small village and follow her dreams and move to Canada.

Our mother, Connie touched many lives with her kindness and support. She was a talented hairstylist, beautician and seamstress. Connie was a successful business woman, running the family bakery and hair salon, while raising four children. Throughout her life, her resourcefulness and perseverance made everything possible for her children to succeed. Her faith in God and devotion to her family was unwavering. She continues to inspire us all. She will be greatly missed by her family, many relatives and friends. Rest in peace dearest Lola Connie.
