Colin's sense of interior design was lacking when I joined NATIONAL. Walls painted in a putrid hue of yellow ... over-sized posters of his rock heroes from the band Yes ... it all made the man with the mop of hair seem a bit more mischievous when we first said hello. I asked myself: they put this guy in charge?
It was an astute move on the firm's part. Colin helped build a fantastic global business. He was part of a unique cast of characters that made my time at NATIONAL forever memorable and deeply rewarding. And there he remains, as always. Long may you run Colin...stephen
Colin and I met at Kerbel Communications in 1990. He quickly became a mentor, confidante and friend. We shared a love for music, food and drink and laughed a lot. We attended many YES concerts together highlighted by our first-row Wembley Arena experience sitting beside Chris Squire's sister and getting backstage to meet some of our heroes. Colin was a generous and caring man who lived life with passion and fun. You will be missed Bucky. Love Smitty.
Love you sweetie. We miss you.
I remember very fondly Collin's wit, his charm, his sense of humour, his charisma, his very powerful life energy, his profound sense of play. He was the natural leader of North House during the year I was there. In the years that have passed I have thought of him often. I wish I had known him better. My deep condolences to his family and friends.
I was very sorry to hear of Colin's passing. My deepest condolences, Linda Boufford
