In memory of

Colin Abrahams

June 22, 1984 -  August 14, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that the family and friends of Colin “Spoon” Abrahams announce his sudden passing on August 14, 2025, at the age of 41.

Born in Scarborough on June 22, 1984, Colin will be remembered for his kind-hearted, warm and compassionate soul; loyalty to his friends and family; quiet acts of kindness; and love of the Gulf of Mexico. Those who knew Colin closely will always remember him in the place he cherished most - his home and his garage - tinkering with gadgets and electronics. Colin left an imprint of love on everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void.

Beloved husband of Michelle, cherished son of Debra (Ted) and Patrick, devoted brother of Lauren, adored grandson of Bill, and loving cat-dad of Noopsie (& sometimes Fritz). He was predeceased by his Granny and Papa Virginia, Charles Abrahams, and his Grandma Leigh. He will be dearly missed by his wonderful in-laws, extended family, and countless close friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and generosity.

Colin’s presence was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will live on in our hearts and souls forever.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 12:30–2:00 p.m. at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Colin’s memory to Guildwood Cat Relief and Toronto Cat Rescue (see link below).

Colin’s family and close friends extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered love and support during this time.

Forever loved, forever missed.

Colin was so kind and warm, and had such a natural charm and sense of humour. We are shocked and saddened by his sudden passing, and our hearts go out to Michelle along with the rest of Colin's family and friends. You are in our hearts.
