BLANCHARD, Cody Nicholas

Passed away at the age of 27, on February 21, 2019 at Princess Margaret Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer. Loving son of Angela Ninni and Rick Blanchard (Terri Lynn). Cherished father of Taylor. Adored brother of Joshua, Isabella, Quinn and Dylan. Beloved grandson of Elmer Blanchard (late Alice), Adele Ninni( late Giulio) and Bruce and Therese Lidstone. Cody will also be dearly missed by Maria Ninni, Amanda Hall, Rosa Ninni and Dominic Ninni as well as by cousin Calen and by many other relatives. He will be forever remembered by his extended family at Christian Horizons. A special thank you to Janice Dewland for her great support. Visitation will take place at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11 am until time of Funeral Service at 12 noon in the Great Hall. The family wish to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of 15B at Princess Margaret Hospital for care, compassion and professionalism shown to Cody and his family. Donations will be gratefully accepted for Princess Margaret Hospital or to the Greater Durham Special Olympics.

Cody you were always there for me when i needed someone to talk to, you always knew how to make everyone around you laugh you were the kindest and sweetest guy i ever had the pleasure to meet i still can't believe that you are gone. Rest easy bud your suffering is now over.
