I was Cliffs first probationer when he was made Captain. Cliff was a great teacher to me, a leader with a great sense of humor. Most of all he was a good person. My sincere sympathy to Clffs family on your loss.

Had the pleasure and honor of working with Cliff at Scarborough Hall 8 for several years. He was one great guy to work with and for. It could be said that when working at Hall 8 Cliff was not just your Captain he was every ones favorite Uncle, (Uncle Cliffy) He was one of the great ones for sure and will be greatly missed my friends, family, and every Fire Fighter who ever worked with him, or knew him.

i was very proud to be able to call Cliff my uncle. He was a beloved younger brother to my dad Bill and Cliff's siblings Bernice and Ken.If I had a dollar fo every time my dad called me CLIFF by mistake I'd be a rich man.Therre was no doubt that the brothers were close.
Cliff was always cheerful when he came to our house to pick up my grandmother. There will be a big party in heaven when those Fergusons are re-united.
Cheers to a great uncle!
