In memory of

Cleare Johannah Young

July 3, 1949 -  October 20, 2019

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 at the age of 70 years with her family by her side.

Many of us feel like we are on our own, we live our separate lives in our own way, but there are certain people in our lives that are the anchor and the rock that keep us from drifting away. Those of us that knew Cleare, that were close to her whether we were younger or older, for a short or a long time, know that she was one of those people that anchored us in our lives and we are grateful.

Cleare was there for the rest of us from the early days of arrival in Canada to the present day, through the rough times and the good times. We have all grown and moved on from those early days, but the centre of it all is still here with us.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at 1pm for a time of Visitation. A funeral Service will follow at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, in honour of Cleare, donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.

My sincere condolences to Cleare's family and friends. I worked with Cleare in the Mississauga Apprenticeship office years ago. She was a great worker and team member - I'm grateful to her for all her help. I will affectionately remember her wit and her ability to honestly 'tell it as she saw it'.

My aunt was indeed a rock and reminded me when i was young, that my decisions i would make in life, are the decisions i would have to live with, so she said be careful.
She laughed a lot and was always a positive person. My dad smiled the whole week so happy to have his youngest sister visit her oldest brother, now they are both in heaven.

Rest in peace my dear Aunt Cleare.

Thank you so much for what you did and tried to do for me. I am sure I would not still be alive today, without your intervention.

I also have wonderful memories of happier times. Thank you for those as well.

Love and respect forever, your nephew

Althon Bernard Lee.
