Valladares, Claude Francis –
Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2017 at the age of 95 years with his family by his side. Claude is survived by his wife Gwen, four sons & their wives, six daughters and their spouses 24 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Claude was born in June 1921 to very pious parents Diego & Mary Esperance Valladares in Bombay, India. He was a part of a large loving family of three brothers and three sisters. He worked in Qatar Petroleum Co (QPC) and in Abadan for several years. He married Gwen Misquitta in 1950 and had a large family of 10 children. He retired from Mazagon Docks and migrated to Canada in 1987 with his wife and youngest son David. The rest of the family followed in later years. He was an avid cricket lover and was Captain of the cricket team in Doha, Quatar in the late fifties. He also loved wrestling & watching Western movies. Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Thursday April 6th, 2017 from 6-9 pm for a time of visitation. A Funeral Mass on will be held on Friday April 7th, 2017 at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2300 Burhamthorpe Road, Mississauga, ON.

A LOVING AND AFFECTIONATE UNCLE WHO VISITED US AT DADAR=BOMBAY. HIS SISTER EDITH WOULD REPAY THE VISIT BY VISITING HIM AND HIS FAMILY IN CHEMBUR. THEY WOULD BE VERY WARM AND HOSPITABLE . GOD BLESSED HIM FOR HIS DEVOTION TO HIS FAMILY.
