Clarence Lloyd Taylor

February 13, 1946 -  November 23, 2023

After a courageous battle with dementia, Clarence L. Taylor passed away peacefully at the Lakeridge Health - Ajax/Pickering Hospital on November 23, 2023. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 40 years, Loretta and his children, Omar, Angie, Sophia , Oral, Aniya, Shanelle and Netanya. His legacy will live on through his 9 grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, many nieces and nephews, and extended family. Clarence was born to the late Percival Taylor and the late Louise Butler. He was also predeceased by 3 of his siblings.

Clarence was a successful Trade Engineer and demonstrated his skills, knowledge and dedication throughout various distinguished roles during his career. His presence, laughter and ability to make others laugh will leave an emptiness in the lives of those who loved him. Some of Clarence’s favourite pastimes included playing games on his phone, and a good match of dominoes; as he was known as the King of Dominoes amongst friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday December 11th, 2023 at the Dominion Miracle Center located at 415 MacKenzie Ave., Ajax, Ontario. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Burial at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, 2505 Brock Road, Pickering to follow the service.
