My relationship with my cousin Wing, his mother was my Father’s first Cousin so Wing and I had the same great father. In my younger days, Wing would join my grandfather and me to watch Hockey Night in Canada and our favourite team the Toronto Maple Leafs. Then on Sundays we would all crowd around this little 23inch black&whiteTV to watch the Ed Sullivan Show and Bonanza. Back then there were 3 families living at 18 Neepawa, Cheung(my family), Chong (David&Judy family) and Tam (Wilson,Linda,Susan,Peter family). I remember when I was 7 or 8 years old Cousin Wing would treat me to a movie & popcorn at the State Movie Theatre on Bloor St. W. In the summers of the late 60’s my summer job was working in the family laundry and my job was on the shirt pressing machines along side my cousin Wing. Wing kept the shirt pressing machines and laundry equipment running smoothly. We would spend hours talking about the Toronto Maple Leafs and what they had to do to win their next Stanley Cup and in those days the Leafs won multiple Cups. These were just some of my old fond memories of my Cousin Wing, we will all miss him very much.

One of the most welcoming, positive, and uplifting people I've ever met. I will miss him, and have his family in my thoughts.
