In memory of

張何翠芳夫人 Chui Fong Chong

October 8, 1930 -  August 24, 2020

Mrs. Chui Fong (Carol) Chong passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 24, 2020.
Born in China almost 90 years ago she came to Canada to join her pre-deceased husband Dong Toy (Bill) Chong and built a thriving Dry Cleaning business and raised a family. She loved to cook, entertain, read, travel, sew, play Mah Jong, enjoyed the outdoors and attending social events. Carol was also an active member of the Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church.
But most of all, she enjoyed her family and many friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She is survived by her children: April, Lynn (David), Betty, Raymond (Mary), Judy (Bob) and May. She was the best “Popo” to Lea, Nikki, Jacqueline, Chris and Kathryn. As the second oldest of a large Ho clan, she will be missed by her sisters and brothers, their spouses, as well as many nieces and nephews and numerous relatives on the Chong side.
While we would love for all of you to join us for the service and visitation in person to celebrate her life, the current social distancing restrictions limit this to a private family event. We invite you to join the live broadcast of the service which will be delivered in Chinese/English. The Livestream link will be available on top of the memorial website page on Tuesday, September 1 at 1:30 p.m.
Flowers are welcome but preferably donations, in memory of Chui Fong (Carol) Chong, to a charity of your choice supporting Cancer or COVID efforts would be appreciated.
