In memory of

Moo Wan Chu 趙慕環太夫人

March 28, 1934 -  July 12, 2025

In Loving memory

Moo Wan Chu passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Sar Hung Chu. Moo Wan will forever live in the hearts of her eight children: Wendy Chu (predeceased), Ken Chang (Billy) Chu, Yee Ling (Elaine) Chu, Kenneth Chu, Ye Chu, Yvonne Chu, Ken Liang Chu, and Donald Chu; as well as her five grandchildren: Bali Chu, Elizabeth Chu, Sarah Chu, Justine Chu, and Wyatt Chu.

Moo Wan was born in China and immigrated to Canada in the 1955. Despite having very little formal education, she became a successful businesswoman, running a Chinese laundry service in Toronto and managing rental properties, all while being a dedicated homemaker raising several children. One of her favorite pastimes was playing mahjong with her neighborhood friends. She was a wise and generous woman, immensely proud of her family. Among her eight children, the youngest and oldest took on the role of caretakers for others, who went on to become engineers, architects, and doctors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Moo Wan Chu to the hospital that provided her with exceptional care during the last two months of her life. Hennick Bridgepoint Foundation.
