In memory of

Christos Andreakos

August 9, 1938 -  August 5, 2023

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Christos, who peacefully passed away on August 5th, at the age of 84 surrounded by the love of his family.

Christos was an extraordinary man whose presence touched the lives of many. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished his family above all else. His memory will live on through his loving wife Helen, son Peter (Vicki), daughter Georgia (Tony) and cherished grandchildren Christopher (Dina), Helene, Krista, Chrysanthi (Elias), Eleni and Demetri. He is also survived by his brothers Peter (late Edith), George (Helen) and by his sister Helen (late John). He is predeceased by his sisters Amalia and Voula (Steve). He will be remembered by all the nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved him.

Christos was born on August 9, 1938, in Xirokambi, Sparti, Greece. He was a dedicated member of the Society of Xirokambiton and devoted much of his time to St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church. His unwavering support and commitment to volunteering was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
As we mourn the loss of Christos, we take comfort in the admirable legacy he leaves behind. He had the remarkable gift of making people laugh and his sense of humour left a lasting mark on all those that knew him. His contagious positivity will live forever in our hearts and all the memories we shared with him will be deeply cherished.

Family and friends will be received at ELGIN MILLS CEMETARY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill (East of Leslie St. 905-737-1720) on August 9th from 4:00-8:00pm.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at ST. PANTELEIMON GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH (11323 Warden Avenue, Markham) on August 10th at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Theo. He was such a sweet and funny man. He lit up a room when he walked in with his smile and sense of humor. Nobody could make my mom laugh quite like him. Not only are we koumbari, but an extension of family. From greek dances, to name day parties to just getting together on Sundays are memories I will cherish always. Always remember him with a smile on your face and know he is up in heaven with my dad laughing once again. May his memory be eternal. Sending you much love xoxoxo
