WIDMER, Christl Victoria (nee Knakowski)

Passed away in her 81st year with grace and dignity with her sons by her side on September 30, 2016 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Loving wife of Willy for 49 years, she is survived by André (Gina) and Peter (Christine), and was a caring and fun Oma to Robyn, Carly, Julia, Megan and Courtney. She was sister to Eddie (deceased) and Ella, who still resides in Germany. A faithful lifer of Eaton’s, Christl will be missed by her many friends and family both here and in Europe. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook, especially Dr. Selby, Tami, Jing, Larissa and Gerry for their care and compassion. Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Saturday, October 15 from 11 am – 12 pm with a service to follow at 12 pm.
