Along with God and my father, the cause of my existence, the wonderful mother that God gave me.

Who reared me, nurtured me, and formed me. Who gave me the best you could afford. Who nurtured and cultivated the Gifts that God gave me.

May her tired soul rest in peace.

Aunty Christine,

I last saw you (from a distance) boarding the aircraft with Derek and Errol at the Bandaranaike International Airport in 1972 I think. Mummy always spoke very fondly of you and said that you were one of the very few from the family who were 'kind' to her.

I was glad that I was able to locate you with Derek's help in 2005 and it was a pleasure to have spoken with you over the years. I shall always cherish those conversations we had. I was always hoping that I would get an opportunity to meet you personally some day, and in fact Derek mentioned this too, but sadly it was not to be.

It is indeed sad that you had to face uncalled-for challenges in the latter part of your life, but at least it was a blessing that Derek was able to put them right for you, the best way he could do from Australia.

Rest in Peace Aunty
Much love always
