In memory of

Christa Lindberg

February 7, 1959 -  November 17, 2018

It is with a sad heart to announce the passing of Christa Lindberg at Sunnybrook Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. With her kind, caring, compassionate nature and the ease with which she shared her smile, she will be also deeply missed by the many close friends with whom she held deep and lasting bonds throughout her life.

The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude for the special care she received at Sunnybrook and to the friends close to her side during her last moments.

Family and friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Saturday Decemeber 1st, 2018 from 11a.m. to 12p.m. A Memorial Service to be held at 12p.m.

I have wonderful memories working with Krista. She was fun, good natured and showed kindness to all. I will always remember her for her enthusiastic love of kooky tights and bright shoes. Rest In Peace Krista, you will be missed.

How sad - I also didn't know she was sick. Love the picture - captures her love of glamour and the way she always knew her job entailed some compromises, but she was happy to play along. I have fond memories of her dressing up for "Board Duty" days, and interrupting her spreadsheets and powerpoints to serve the muffins in the boardroom! She will be missed.
