It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chong Qian Anthony Guan (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 1st, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

关鹰 (父女)

悲痛的消息来的猝不及防，虽然疫情以来一直有很多担心，但是因为避过第一波疫情，也就认为疫情只是停留在每天都在增长的可怕的感染与死亡的数字，这些似乎都只是新闻，没想到自己的亲人会被毒害到，甚至连一句话都没留下就走了……这时我才意识到自己有多不了解父亲，对于他的家庭，他的成长过程几乎不知，我是多不合格的女儿。
我只记得他曾经说过小时曾经住在开西教堂后面的小楼里，我去了，是想在那里能与父亲更近点，但是遗憾的是，哪里早已没有老楼的踪迹。我和女儿进了教堂，我希望能通过上帝架起我与他的连线……老父亲走的突然，或许是他太想和关家的亲人相聚了，也许他很想回到当年充满兄弟姐妹快乐幸福的大家庭。希望在天堂老父亲与亲人们团聚。

至今都不愿相信，崇谦舅舅就这样离开了我们。圣诞节那天跟您通电话时，您那洪亮的嗓音，仍在耳畔。原本想着等今年疫情缓解之后，一定去多伦多看看您。不曾想，今年的第一天，就收到了您因新冠辞世的消息。每每想起您，您那慈祥的笑容总会浮现在我的脑海。记得小时候，从来都是您到北京家里看我们，我们却从来都没有机会去天津看望您。到了加拿大，您成了我在异国他乡唯一的血亲长辈，虽然偶有通话，我们却也只见过一面。多少次想去看看您，却因各种原因而没成行。现在已经成为心中的遗憾。愿舅舅在天堂没有病痛。与天堂中关家仙逝的长辈相聚。
