The Wu family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Ching Chee Ma on the 16th of July, 2021. Ching Chee Ma was not only the matriarch of the family, but a loving great grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister, and wife. She was a brave and resourceful woman who was always ready to help friends and family by providing a home, meal, or just simply a conversation to share with. Having spent her time between Hong Kong, U.S, and Canada, she was a well-traveled and cultured soul whose empathy, patience, and humour brought joy to many throughout her lifetime. Her warm smile and generous spirit will be remembered with much fondness by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be sorely missed by her sons Alan Wu, Kevin Wu and her daughter Mabel Wu, as well as her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Unionville Home Society (https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/unionville-home-society-foundation/) in Ching Chee Ma’s honour, as thanks for the care she received from them over the past few years. 慈母胡馬靜池女仕痛於公歷二零二一年七月十六日壽終於加拿大安大略省萬錦市。作為一個女家長，馬女仕同時是位慈愛的曾祖母, 祖母, 母親, 姐姐和妻子。她是個勇敢而充滿智慧的人，為她的孩子們提供了一個溫飽的家、喜愛聆聽及向親朋戚友伸出援手。她在香港，美國和加拿大之間生活，擁有一顆遊歷豐富且有教養的靈魂。她的同情心、耐心和幽默為周圍的人帶來了歡樂。那些有幸認識馬女仕的人都不會忘記她那溫暖的微笑和慷慨精神。馬靜池的兒子胡國璇, 胡國基, 女兒胡慧雯和她三名孫兒及五名曾孫們將會非常懷念她。
