Chetan Tulsiani, an engineer, businessman and long-time resident of Mississauga, Ontario died peacefully on February 6, 2023 at the age of 82 after suffering a stroke and then covid pneumonia. Chetan is survived by his wife, Chandra Tulsiani (Lalchandani), his children, Asha Kamnani (Vinay Kamnani), Norm Tulsiani, Sandhya O’Connor and Rekha Tulsiani as well as his granddaughters Sapna Kamnani and Raina O’Connor and grandson Raj O’Connor. He also leaves behind his loving brother Arjun Tulsiani and his wife Leela Tulsiani as well as nephews, Sunil (Sangita, Dev and Megha) and Ravi Tulsiani (Leena, Rishi and Raj) and niece, Sushma Galani (Ramesh, Sabrina, Neil).
Chetan was born in Ghotki, Sindh on April 30, 1940 to Deepchand and Ganga Bai Tulsiani. He was the eldest child of six children.
For Chetan, his immediate and extended family and his close friends were the most important part of his life.
Chetan was a very personable, generous and hard working man who was always on the go. He made friends wherever he went.
He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at The Simple Alternative Mississauga at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral at 3 p.m. Pandit Shastriji will officiate.
