In memory of

Cheryl Joy Milo

February 7, 1983 -  January 5, 2021

On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Cheryl Joy Milo, loving mother of Teresa and Daijah, passed away peacefully and with so much love. Beloved daughter of Ricardo and Virginia, sister to Jason and Karen, aunt to Jailen and Evan, and partner to Damon, she will be deeply missed by all who were ever graced with her infectious laughter. Joy had a passion for music and dance, loved unconditionally, and brought out the best of everyone around her. She drew people in like a light in the dark and will be deeply missed by the multitude of family and friends that had the honour of knowing her. To know Joy is to love her.

I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to CheryI Joy's family. I had the great pleasure of first meeting Cheryl some years ago, when we both worked together. I always looked forward to the times we would be scheduled together because she made even the most mundane of tasks enjoyable. That was just one of her many gifts - her infectious enthusiasm for life, as well as her positivity. Her parents truly named her well - anyone who met her could see the name Joy truly suited her!
I think anyone who crossed paths with Cheryl was somehow altered by her zest for life and for living, and I know we are all mourning her passing with a terrible sense of loss.
