Dr. Hui-Guang Chen, born on October 15, 1942 in Fujian, China, passed peacefully on January 2, 2025. He lived a life rich with love, laughter, and wisdom. His early years were marked by a passion for learning and reading. He was academically gifted and graduated from the prestigious Shanghai Medical University, he built a successful career and carried on his family's legacy of providing patient care as the 7th generation physician. When he moved to Canada in 1982 with his family, he was instrumental in advocating for the complementary benefits of holistic medicine, and became one of the most influential and respected Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors in Toronto. His dedication to his patients was a testament to his commitment to service and compassion for others. He is survived by his beloved wife Ling-Ling, son Jian and daughter-in-law Anna, daughter Jiena and son-in-law Chien and his grandsons Lucas and Thomas.
