Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on November 14, 2023, at the age of 95. A true gentleman, with a friendly, kind and giving soul; lover of all God's creations. He had a deep faith in Christ and is ready to be reunited with his true love Dorothy (d.2014). Always proud and happiest in the company of his family, he was a loving dad to Mary, Dorothy Jr. (Sebastiaan), Charlie Jr. (Bonnie), Joe (Kristen) and granddad to 8. Charlie was a respected union organizer and leader. Dad found joy in simple things; a tomato from the garden, making pickles, a challenging crossword and a good “scoff”. He was always ready to make others smile with his quick wit. A sports enthusiast, he also enjoyed a hot game of cards and horse racing. We love you dad….God bless and peace be with you.
