Chang Soo Lee, husband to Heggie, father to Young, Kyu and Alex, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22nd, after being diagnosed with lung cancer in January 2021. A graduate of Kyunggi High School, Seoul National University and the University of Waterloo, he had been loving life as a retiree and grandfather to Adrian, Jonathan, Victoria, Kassandra and Christopher. Even at 86 years old, the avid golfer coveted waking up at 5:30am every day, playing a minimum of 9 holes without riding a cart, as long as the golf course was open. Before retirement, he was a chief design engineer for sewer and water works in the Durham Region. He will be loved and missed by many in the Durham Region and in the Korean community in the GTA. He is survived by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Gemma and Sorim, and his five grandchildren.
