Ma ,

I was sad to see you go but you have suffered a great deal for over a year .
You no longer have to be reminded to eat , drink and to do the exercises
that would help you to walk . You often said “ Why are you making me move - I
am too old !” Yes Ma you have earned your rest !

It was a joy to see your smile and laughter the past week of your life .
It was a privilege to care for you and I thank all my siblings , Ayee , Asaw ,
Chi Chong —Kee and especially my husband —Stuart for all their patience
and support .

You have been a very strong Hakka matriarch , hardworking and
family oriented to the core . I will miss you and be reminded of all the
happy family gatherings and celebrations .

Love you Ma , be happy with Papa .💕💕

Ti Yuen 💕💕

Our deepest condolences to Janet, Stuart, Jacqueline, Jonathan and Janet’s siblings and their families. Losing a matriarch is extremely tough. Your mum/grandma/great grandma has taken her place in heaven to watch over all of you. How blessed you were to have been a part of her family. RIP Mrs. Li.

Apho (Grandma), you lived a healthy 89 years and we have many great memories with you that will live on, as seen in the hundreds of photos we have collected in celebration of your life.

You and Ah Kung (Grandpa) gave me the greatest gift - my mom - who will forever be my role model. She is strong, smart, and loving and could only have learned this from you. I hope I can be this way for my own daughters.

It was hard to watch your health decline over the past year. In your final months and days, you told me how tired and sick you were. But when you ended up in the same nursing home, wing, room, and even bed as my Apho Wong (Grandma) just two weeks before your passing, I just knew the universe was sending signals that you would be okay, and have a good friend by your side.

Rest in peace, Apho; you will forever be in our hearts.
