Cecilia Kathleen Thompson (née O'Brien), 82, of Toronto, On. Died peacefully in her Sleep on January 14th, 2017. Beloved husband Lawrence Arthur Thompson for 63 years. She will be dearly missed by her children Ron (Sandra), Michael (Hellen), Lisa (Randy). Loving grandmother of Brant, James, Andrew, Connor, Ceria and Buddy (family dog).
A consummate mother and homemaker, Cecilia was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Over the years she collected a large library of cookbooks and loved sharing her ideas and experiences with decorating the family dinner table for special occasions. She was an avid baseball fan and knew more about the Blue Jays team than most sports fans.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20th , 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at The Simple Alternative - Meadowvale Funeral Centre. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Saturday January 21st, 2017 at 11:00am to 12:00pm. Lunch to follow please RSVP by Thursday January 19th.
