In memory of

Cecilia Bernabe

December 15, 1939 -  November 16, 2022

After years of courageously fighting cancer, Cecilia Bernabe died peacefully on November 16, 2022. Cecilia “Mama Teng” Bernabe exuded warmth and kindness. She had a vibrant and cheerful personality with a glowing and welcoming smile to match. She loved unconditionally and never hesitated to offer help to anyone in need.
Cecilia loved her family dearly and devoted herself to caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

In her later years, she lived a quiet life and enjoyed simple pleasures. She loved listening to music, watching Korean movies, and Filipino variety shows. She poured over her jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, playing cards, and lived vicariously through the characters of her chapter books. She was a talented seamstress and spent hours crocheting beautiful blankets and scarves for her family and loved ones.

Cecilia was widowed by her husband Mario Bernabe Sr. She will be fondly remembered by her children Elena (Emil), and Albert (Lyver); her grandchildren Kristine (Jeff), Kathy (Bernard), EJ, Czarmane, and Joseph; and her great grandchildren Gabriel, and Benny. Cecilia’s generosity and loving spirit will be missed greatly and remembered always.
