In memory of

Cecil Benedict Perera

February 3, 1945 -  April 13, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, CECIL BENEDICT PERERA who left us peacefully on Sunday April 13 at 8:20 am surrounded by the love of his family. He was 80 years old.

A devoted husband to Savitri a proud father to Dhashika(Russel), Niluka (Anthony) and Dilan(Kushlika), a cherished grandfather to Kyle, Imara, Angelia, Kayla, Reid & Isabella. Dad lived a life full of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. He faced every challenge with grace and courage, especially in his later years, and taught us the true meaning of resilience and compassion.

His gentle spirit, warm smile, wise guidance and witty sense of humour will remain with us forever. Though our hearts are broken, we are comforted in knowing he is at peace.

We will carry his memory with us always 🙏🏽

I was heartbroken to hear about Cecil aiya’s passing. While I take comfort in knowing you are in a better place, it’s hard to imagine life without you.

You were a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather , a caring brother, cousin, uncle and dear friend to so many. Your warmth, kindness, jovial presence touched everyone around you.

You will be deeply missed, and your memory will live on in all of us who loved you.
