Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 28, 2019. Beloved wife of Don. Loving mother of Trisha (Stephen) and Chad. Cherished grandma of Hannah and Alannah. Fondly remembered by her brother Billy (Heather). Adored lifetime friend of Margie. Will be missed by her nieces and nephews and her many friends. A visitation will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering (905-686-5589) on Saturday, March 9th from 1 pm until time of the Celebration of Life at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SickKids Foundation, your local Humane Society or a charity of your choice.

Don, Trisha, Chad and family

Erica and I want to extend our deepest condolences. I am writing this with tears as we share your deep loss. Cathy was a very dear person, always welcoming with open arms no matter what else was going on in her life. We will always treasure each moment we shared with all of you at the trailer, at your house and whenever our paths crossed.

In time, sadness will ease and you be able to smile when memories come to mind.

Going to miss you so much Cathy, you will never be forgotten.
Thanks for always being there and doing the things you have done for me since the age of 10, you were like my 2nd mother.
We are sad to see you go but happy you are free from the agony and pain you were going through.
