Surrounded by her daughters, it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Catherine (Cathy) Elizabeth Podolak on February 9th, 2022, aged 73 years. Predeceased by her husband, Richard Podolak. Cherished mother of Alyson, Christy, and Amy and beloved sister and sister-in-law to Donald and Cynthia McCallum. Lovingly remembered by her sons-in-law Nick Stergios, Brett Webster, and Andy Klamaas. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandson Keegan Webster, and granddaughters Zoë Stergios, and Maëlle and Scarlett Klamaas. Cathy was an avid gardener, reader, and knitter, and was a super fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. In memory of Cathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Yee Hong Peter K. Kwok Hospice would be appreciated by the family. We would like to express a very heartfelt thank you to the compassionate team of nurses and doctors at the hospice, who so lovingly cared for Cathy in her last days.
