Catherine Douglas

March 9, 1957 -  July 31, 2022

In loving memory of Catharine Gail Douglas, who passed peacefully at Toronto General Hospital July 31, 2022. Survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Glen Douglas. Beloved Mother of Brandon and Chase. Pet Parent to Damon.
Cathy was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario on March 9th 1957 to Doris Bowen and the late Vern Bowen. Loving sister to Lesley, Kelly, and twin sister Christine. Cathy was a committed employee of over 32 years at General Motors of Canada, working her way up to the Purchasing Department before an early retirement in 2008.
Cathy enjoyed nature and the outdoors, and we will look for her in every Cardinal we see.
Please join us in celebrating Cathy’s life on August 5th 2022 at the Thornton Cemetery in Oshawa, Ontario. Visitation is from 12:00-1:00pm, to be followed by the Service at 1:00-2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the Family is asking for Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

We are very saddened by the loss of Aunt Cathy. She was such a beautiful person who was a true fighter always showing so much love and grace while facing some tough times. We will miss your laugh and your quick wit at bbqs and family functions.
We love you and miss you dearly. ❤️
