Catherine Baldwin

Passed away peacefully on October 10, 2018 at Extendicare Brampton Nursing Home at the age of 92. Predeceased by beloved husband Cyril and son Allan. Cherished mother of Christine (John Saundercook), Pat Dewar (David Gordon), Ivan Baldwin (Liz Desand) and Colin Baldwin. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Stephanie, David, James, Laura, Erica, Jackie, Justin and Alexandra. Proud great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren. Catherine's gentle, warm and generous nature and her welcoming smile will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. She will remain in our hearts forever.

Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Brampton for their love and care given to Catherine.

A Funeral Service will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Saturday, October 13 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Nani will be deeply missed not only by her children and grandchildren, but also by all the people whose lives she touched. Her strength and courage inspired a lot of people, including myself. She is one of the strongest and bravest women I know. If I could be half as amazing as the woman she was, I will be very lucky.
