We often hear about people blessed by God. Rarely, do we also hear about people whose special confidence in God’s love transcends all understanding. Those are God’s children, placed on Earth with the special mission of making it better. They are those special souls who ennoble those around them, brighten and purify with their kind gaze, and soothe with their gentle touch. This is Catalin! HE IS because he is love and love does not die, because he is profound kindness, and kindness does not die, because he is God’s special child, and God’s children do not die!

Though faced with a cruel and unforgiving disease, Catalin chose to live with the cancer, spending each and every second of his time loving, protecting, guiding, searching for, and amplifying the good in those around him. And when, despite all his incomparable fortitude and courage, this horrible disease rendered him unable to continue sharing his wonderful gifts, Catalin returned graciously to his Heavenly Father.

Catalin has left, in each and every one of us, his most cherished gift and his pure essence: his unconditional love. Ensuring that our gratefulness for the blessing of his existence in our lives is greater than the suffering of our loss, loving truly, living beautifully and intensely, following our dreams and fulfilling our potential, being strong but kind, we honour and live the life he would have wanted to live.

As for his love for his wife Olimpia, when soulmates meet, no one and nothing, not even death could ever separate. They become and remain ONE; one being, one soul, one infinity, one eternity.
