In memory of

Carolyn Sarah Lawson

September 15, 1984 -  June 4, 2019

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Carolyn Sarah Lawson. After an incredibly brave battle with cancer, Carolyn passed in the arms of her loving husband Rafal Lowisz on Tuesday, June 4th. Carolyn is survived and missed by her adoring husband Rafal, dad Alex, stepmother Angie, brother Stewart, stepbrothers Joel and Jeremy Smith, stepsister Alexis Lindon (Ben), step niece Avery Lindon, Mother and Father In-Law Maria and Jan Lowisz, sister in-law Eva Lowisz, brother in-law Adam Lowisz, nephew Joseph Lowisz and her most cherished and lifelong friend , Meghan Gerovac (Mike Boyd) and the entire Gerovac family (Mary, Gary and Michelle) who loved Carolyn as a daughter and sister. Carolyn was a proud Auntie to Charlize Boyd and would
beam with pride when speaking about her sweet Charli. Carolyn was also adored and a loving mum to her two four legged babies, Horton and Bo, Carolyn loved all animals great and small.

To know Carolyn, was to love her. Her beautiful eyes and infectious smile lit up a room. Her zest for life was contagious. Carolyn’s love of travel led her to pursue a career within the travel industry at Tully Luxury Travel where she forged many special friendships along the way and received so much love and support during her illness. Carolyn’s kindness and empathy knew no bounds and she was always willing to help those she loved. Carolyn will be forever missed by her many friends and family.

Special thanks to all the staff at Credit Valley Hospital especially Dr. Sarah Rauth and nurse Lisa Baillie as well for all the care, support, compassion and love you gave to Carolyn throughout her journey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DIBS Animal Rescue www.dibsrescue.com

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Carolyn. Though we have not spoken in quite some time I have many fond memories of her and our other childhood friends growing up. We shared many fun times at school, girl guides, sleep overs and just playing around the neighbourhood.
My thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time.
Thinking of you all

Carolyn was a bright light in our office. Always smiling, she was quick to laugh and a joy to be around. She was smart and funny and we miss her so much.
My condolences to her husband Raf, her family including her four legged kids and her very best friend, Meaghan.
I'm sure that she is reunited with her beloved mom and smiling down on all of us.

My sincerest condolences go out to all of Carolyn’s friends and family. What can I say about this girl; she was smart, funny, quick-witted, always brought a smile to your face and was kind to all those around her. It was a pleasure to have known her over the past 9 years working together. RIP Brave Soul! You will be greatly missed!
