Carolyn May Oliver Garfield

May 4, 1951 -  November 19, 2022

Oliver Garfield, Carol (nee Batten) - Passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side at the age of 71, following a brief battle with cancer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gordon Garfield, and her children Keith (Brianna) Oliver and Erin Oliver. Carol will be sadly missed by her sisters Lois (Barry) Freese and Sandra (Bob) Molenaar, nephew Randy Freese (Esmeralda), great nephew Mason, nephew Cameron Freese, great niece Charlie Freese, and nieces Stephanie (Matt) Chrusch and Sarah (Kyle) Witiw, cousins Bob (Jo-Anne) Doyle, Sharon (Monika) Falconer, as well her extended family and many friends.

Carol was an avid gardener, jewelry designer, interior decorator and stained-glass artist. She spent many years lending her voice to the choir of Music Mania, volunteered with the Aurora Optimist Club and lived her live sharing her creative talents with those she loved.

If so desired, donations in memory of Carol may be made to your local food bank to support those in need.

I’m so sorry I will not be able to attend the celebration, I recently had knee surgery.
It was so a shock to hear of Aunt Carol’s passing. I am so glad that she made the personal decision to handle it on her own terms. Sending you all love ❤️
