In memory of

Carol Evelyne Grant

July 9, 1942 -  November 7, 2022

Grant, Carol Evelyne (Godwin)
July 9, 1942 -Nov 7, 2022 - after a battle recovering from a Stroke.

At the age of 80, peacefully at home, with family by her side, Carol drifted away in her sleep.

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Grant announce her passing .

She will be terribly missed by her husband of 61 years Gary and their children Nadene (Bill), Derek (Cathy) and Cheryl (Steve).
Nana will always be remembered by her grandchildren Grant, Tyler, Calvin, Garrett, Keenan, Julia and Alicia.

Carol was always fun to be around, she was very positive and always happy. You could always count on her and she was never late.

She loved to dance at a party, she had sense of style, she loved to go shopping, do crafts like flower arranging and decoupage (which are displayed all over her home) she loved to clean, and helped all of her children and grandchildren cleaning their houses and condos with a big smile on her face. She was always so happy when she was helping someone.

Her love of family was shown by her planning many vacations, outings, birthdays and dinners out. This was what she enjoyed the most in life. All of the fun trips to resorts like Fern, where she would spend time playing games, joking around and hot tubbing with all of her grandchildren. These are the memories that all of the kids will remember.

She was very giving with her time and helped everyone she knew. She helped many neighbours and friends with getting ready for Christmas and making crafts for everyone to give out as gifts.

She had to have a daredevil spirit as she spent many weekends flying with her husband, boating, and motorcycling. She even survived “the plane crash” that everyone has heard so much about. (Please ask Gary if you would like to see the video footage).

Anyone who knew her will say she was kind, generous, had a big heart, and a zest for life.

Her sparkle will continue to shine and will remain forever in our hearts.

It was a great pleasure knowing Carol, we had a lot of laughs and fun times together. She taught us many crafts and showed a lot of patience while doing so, which made us laugh even more. The four of us would often meet for lunch or dinner, sometimes at her place. We will miss her very much, she will be forever in our thoughts and hearts!
