Carol Ann Powadiuk passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Carol is cherished and celebrated by her siblings Nancy Webb and Tom Jasper, her loving husband Russell Powadiuk, their daughters Tara Powadiuk and Nicola Powadiuk, Nicola’s husband Jeff Kubacki, as well as Carol’s grandchildren: Grace and Hensley Fasulo, Maya and Hudson Kubacki.

Carol grew up on a third generation farm in Walkerton, Ontario and went on to skip several grades in school, excel in sports, become valedictorian, teacher, Vice Principal, and she opened an English Language School in Revelstoke, BC. Beyond her impressive roles and accomplishments, her greatest gift was her capacity to inspire, mentor, and entertain those fortunate enough to cross her path. Whether you were a fellow customer at Sherway Mall or one of her grandchildren, Carol always shared sage words and a witty comment that would bring a smile to your face. Carol’s incredible spirit will live on through her family and friends.
