In memory of

Carol Ann Duffy

May 18, 1939 -  November 23, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Duffy, beloved wife of George, mother of Debbie and Lisa (née Reed), grandmother to Irene, Evan, Matthew, Emily, Derek and Sarah. Lovingly remembered as a mother to Mary and grandmother to Rosemary and Beth. She also leaves behind many long-time friends made through her various pursuits including swimming, tennis, her career at York University and being a good neighbour.

Carol grew up in England and in 1963 emigrated to Canada with her family to begin the next phase of her life. Although Canada became her new home, she enjoyed many trips back to England to visit relatives.

Carol looked forward to camping every summer, especially at Killbear Provincial Park, because it meant doing all her favourite things: spending time with family and friends, daily swims, nature walks, quiet times for reading, evenings around the campfire and playing card games.

Carol was a deeply passionate person who touched many lives. She will be greatly missed.
