In Loving Memory of Carmen Galang at age 79, passed away on October 25, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 16, 1944, in Manila, Philippines. Carmen was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a beloved friend to many. Her warmth, kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had an unwavering devotion to her family, especially the love for her grandchildren who never failed to put a smile on her face. Carmen was the anchor that held her family together through all of life's challenges. She was known for her culinary talents, her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of her delicious Filipino dishes. Her sense of humor and laughter were contagious, bringing joy to those around her. Carmen Galang's legacy is one of love, compassion, and strength. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Alfredo, her children Barbara, Dona and Ellenica (Jason), her grandchildren Megan, Mitchell, Mason, Ethan and Liam and beloved sister to Eduardo, Porfirio, Fernando (late), Zenaida and Evelyn. The family are having a private service to respect Carmen's last wish to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's society in her honour. Carmen's kindness, her laughter, and her love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
