Carmen Bonavia (nee Lavetti-Bosco)
Born April 10, 1923 in Port Said, Egypt, passed away peacefully at Villa Forum Long Term Care Centre, Mississauga on June 6, 2022. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Georgina Bonavia. Loving mother of Antonie (Linda) Bonavia, Diane Ferris and Bruce (Sherry) Bonavia. Cherished Nana of Colin, Lindsay, Emma, Angelica, Mario, Victoria and Christopher. Carmen will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga on Thursday June 9, 2022 from 6-8 pm. A Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 3914 Bloor Street West, Etobicoke on Friday June 10, 2022 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
