It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmela Morra on August 9, 2018 at age of 62 at North York General Hospital She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving daughter to Assunta and predeceased father Rosario. Loving sister to Tony (Tina). Proud aunt to Christina, Steven (Mel), Vanessa and Ashley. Proud great aunt to Tessa and Zoey. Carmela will be deeply missed by her cousins, friends and all of her students that she taught. Our dearest daughter, sister and aunt will be remembered by her love of family, friends and her students. We will always cherish our many loving memories of her and she will remain forever in our hearts. Gratitude is expressed to the doctors, nurses, and staff at North York General Hospital. Friends and family will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on August 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Precious Blood Parish with interment and reception to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
