In memory of

Bryan Boon-Chung Tse

April 1, 1945 -  April 6, 2019

Beloved husband of Cretia Shuk Kuen and father to Tina and Derek, father-in-law to David and Anne, and grandfather to beautiful girls Niamh, Emma and Nora. After suffering a stroke on Wednesday, April 3, Bryan passed away at Toronto General Hospital a little before noon on Saturday, April 6. His family extends its deepest gratitude to the incredible staff at the Fudger House long-term care home for taking such great care of him when his health was in decline. After growing up in China, he immigrated to Canada in the 1960s and plied his trade as a restaurateur for many years in northern Ontario, especially in the town of Cochrane. In 1999, Bryan retired to be closer to his children in Toronto. He was a lover of sports and music, with an easy charm that endeared him to all who knew him. He will live on forever in our hearts and memories.

Tina, Derek and family,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember our Lam family visiting Cochrane at your restaurant during our summers to Timmins and Cochrane.

Cretia, Tina and Derek,

Thinking of your whole family with heartfelt sympathy. We thoroughly looked forward to the many Christmases visiting with Bryan and Cretia in Cochrane as the kids grew up. We will always cherish those memories of hospitality and generosity.

Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Uncle Bryan will always hold a special place in my heart from the many fond memories as a young girl in Timmins to the visits to Cochrane during the summers and Christmases. We will miss his kindness and generosity.
