It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brij Mohan Gupta on July 6, 2021 following a long and courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

Brij was born in the town of Shimla located in the Himalayan mountains. After completing his education in Mechanical Engineering, he immigrated to Canada in 1965 and became a proud member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario. He married his wife Veena in 1967 and they went on to have two children.

Brij was kind and loving and took great pride in everything he did. One of his greatest strengths was his commitment to hard work. Throughout his life, whether in his career or at home, he always kept busy. He was always a big inspiration and a symbol of strength to his children and to many others in his extended family.

He enjoyed daily walks and exercise was happiest spending quiet time with friends and family around him.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Veena and children Seema (Maneesh) and Sameer (Imelda). He was a proud grandfather (Nana/Dadu) to Rohan, Ariya, Isla and Siena. He is loved and remembered by his siblings, many nieces and nephews and the rest of the family. He will forever be in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held on July 12, 2021. Due to Covid restrictions the event is by invitation only. A live-stream link will be provided on this page for all others.
