Passed away on Friday, May 13th, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Chesley Robert Hurrell. Loving mother of Susan (Ben), Chesley Jr. (Krista), Michael (Jennifer) and Kimberley. Proud grandmother of Christopher (Carolyn), Craig (Madison), Meagan (Colin), Andrew, Jared and Jonny. Cherished great grandmother of Cameron, Benny, Avery, Klara and James.
Brigitte enjoyed vacationing, playing her favourite slots at the casino and taking day trips cross border shopping where she would enjoy a meal at Bob Evans before returning with her many purchases. She spent much of her spare time in the last several years with friends at the Oshawa Seniors Community Centres. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 10 am until 12 pm with a service to follow at 12 pm at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787 (South of Taunton Road, enter through gates off Dryden Blvd.). In memory of Brigitte, donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada or the Oshawa Seniors Community Centres.
