On June 4th, 2021 the world lost a great man. Brian Richard Johnson passed peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. Brian was the oldest son of Richard and Muriel Johnson, big brother to Bruce father of Mark and nephew of Frank White all who passed before him. He is survived by his wife Christine, daughter Dawn (Ryan), grandchildren Mylee, John and Liam, sisters Linda and Kathy (wife of Bruce), nephews Michael (Lorraine), Derek (Kim) and Dillion Johnson, cousins to Laurie and Robert. Brian was a kind, man who was a life-long friend to many including Pete Tsachoff, Gord Fenn, Kim and the Borman family, the Gallant family and the Black Family. He was a large part of the lives of so many and was always there to lend a hand to those in need.
Brian loved the outdoors and spent many summers fishing and camping with Mark and his friends. He was an animal lover and always made space in his home for his loving dogs, birds, snake and lizards. Brian was an amazing cook and loved making cheese spaghetti for his grandsons. He will be missed and loved by all those who knew him but we take some comfort in knowing he is with so many he loved and no longer in pain.
A service and celebration of Brian will be held as soon as enough people can gather to share their love, memories and say goodbye in a proper way. We invite all those who would like to to share memories and photos to put them in the guest book.
