After a lengthy illness, Brent’s family is deeply saddened to announce his passing in hospital May 24 at the age of 77. He will be forever missed by his children Warren (Heather) and Lisa (Paul) and his beloved friend Wendy Burgess. He was the proud grandfather of Joshua and Anna Aryes and Claire and Kate Lovely. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Wayne and Dawn and was predeceased by his youngest sister Diane. Loving uncle to Griffin and Parker, Sean (Lisa) and their children Courtney and Ireland; and Ryan, Shannon and Aaron. He was a great friend to many.

Brent had a long career as a registered laboratory technologist working in hospitals in Owen Sound and Orillia as well as in the private sector. He briefly retired then went onto a second career in commercial real estate. When not at work, he enjoyed the outdoors (especially fishing) as well as reading and playing card games.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations if desired may be made to the Younge Street Mission, the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
