In Loving Memory of Bozena Czerniawski

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bozena Czerniawski, a beloved mother and grandmother, who departed this world on December 3, 2023. Bozena's legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Born on June 12, 1951 in Poland, Bozena emigrated to Canada in 1982 with her late husband Jerzey Czerniawski. Bozena dedicated her life to the well-being and happiness of her family. As a devoted mother to her two children, Rafal and Kinga-Monika, she exemplified unconditional love and provided unwavering support. Beyond her immediate family, Bozena's nurturing spirit extended to her professional life as a Personal Support Worker, where she warmly embraced and cared for others in need.

Bozena found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, cherishing the unique personalities and bringing to life the laughter and playfulness of her five grandchildren—Johnatan (29), Zavier (20), Jules (12), Niveah (5), and Naria (2). Their presence was a source of endless happiness.

She is survived by her older and younger sisters, Lucina Tuszyńska and Wiesława Słomczewska, with whom she shared countless moments during video calls. Their giggles and laughter could be heard late into the night.

While Bozena's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, her spirit lives on in the cherished memories, stories, and the enduring love she shared with family and friends. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the positive impact she had on the lives around her.

The viewing and service to honor Bozena Czerniawski's life will be held on December 8, 2023, at 10 am at The Simple Alternative funeral home, 1535 South Gateway Road in Mississauga.

May Bozena Czerniawski's soul rest in eternal peace, and may her family find solace in the loving memories they shared with her.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family. This is beyond sad for us. Last year she showed us how strong we can be. We learned more than we could ever imagine from her. You are now with our father in heaven. Thank you Bozena, we are beyond grateful for you. May your sweet soul rest in peace.

I am very saddened by the news of Bozena passing. I met her last year because she was one of the psw workers who helped to take care of my mother who suffers from servere dementia. She was a confidant and companion to my father, her, Lili (another psw and co worker of Bozena) and him became very close throughout their tenure taking care of my mother. So much so that my dad gave them both keys to his apartment incase of an emergency. 2 weeks after he did that, he himself had a cardiac episode and died, it was Bozena who came into the house with the key he gave her and found him. I will never forget the warmth she showed my family and the love she showed my mother. She was a work horse always on the go, she was a force and I smile thinking about all the conversations we shared. May she finally get the rest she deserves.

She loved her family immensely and was very proud of them, she shared stories with me and my family and it makes me smile to know that she was so loved.

On behalf of Myself, Mark, Lisa, Kaya and all of the Jaglall family, thank you for all the memories, all the help and all the love. I hope you and my dad are up there sharing a laugh :) RIP kohanya.
