We are deeply saddened to announce that on May 12, 2023 at 8 PM, Borislav Stefanov Christoff took his last breath after a fierce battle with lung cancer.
He passed away surrounded by his devoted and loving wife, his dedicated and loving daughter, his caring and loving son, his loving son-in-law, and his son’s loving girlfriend. He was a wonderful caring man who treated everyone with respect! Those who are lucky enough to know him personally understand the gravity of this loss. He was an amazing son and brother, a strong and loving husband, and the best father anyone could ever wish for! He was the #1 Dado ( grandpa ) to his two smart and kind grandsons.
We are forever Grateful for everything you did for us! We will love you, and will miss you forever very very much..

I wish you could be with us for one more month. Then we'd go, all of us, to a warm beach holiday where you'd never been before. We'd swim in the ocean and have fresh fish every day. There, we would thank you for everything you did for us. Later we'd promise to take care of everyone the way you always did. When inevitably we'd have to return home, we'll say goodbye and remind you that you'll live forever in our minds, and in others out there in the world, in the way we are and always will be...

I want to express my sincere condolences to the family and relatives of Doctor Borislav Hristov!
Borislav was my friend and I sincerely regret that he left too early in life.
I can say that this is one of the most erudite and intelligent people I have ever met! He was extremely communicative, cheerful and positive with a great sense of humor! He was always looking to help people. A man with a big heart and soul! A man who greatly influenced others by his actions, thoughts and behavior and presence.
I hope that his children and grandchildren will carry this noble spark and attitude within themselves.
Borislav will be missed by me and many other people because he left a big mark on their lives and consciousness with a holy mind and humanity!
God bless him!

I knew it would be hard not to miss Borislav. His grace, compassion and generosity readily invited friendship. His prodigious memory produced an endless array of medical information, historical facts and all manner of jokes that could enliven any gathering. Borislav always sought to achieve excellence professionally and to find excellence in everything life had to offer. His powerful life force was magnetic.

This is a continuation of the story that I had started and saved:

I imagine Borislav as a young boy sitting next to his grandmother as she imparts countless aphorisms evincing the wisdom acquired through her experiences. "Write these down so that you will remember them", she might have said. "You'll be able to use them on almost any occasion and the best part is, they'll never get old." No matter had often I had heard a joke before, I would always crack a smile for I knew that Borislav was reciting it to make me feel better.

I miss him terribly.
