It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Bonnie Jean Johnston at Toronto Western Hospital on Monday September 1, 2025, at the age of 73.

Bonnie was the devoted wife of Ronald William Johnston. Cherished mother of Jason Johnston (Tishana) and Ronnie Johnston. Dearest sister of Pete Devitt, and Gord Devitt. Beloved daughter of the late Nora Isabelle Devitt and the late Elwood Devitt. Proud grandmother of Christopher, Sebastian, Tyler, Brandy, Dodge, and Wildyr. Adoring great grandmother of Jaxon Johnston. Bonnie will be deeply missed by extended family and many friends.

You were the most loving, caring selfless woman there ever was. You’d put everyone else before yourself. You would do everything and anything in your power to make sure i was happy, I was well taken care of and had everything I could’ve ever wanted. Then you did the same when I had Jaxon you spoiled him, and loved us both tremendously. I’m so thankful for it all. Thank you for taking me in and being my mom❤️ I will forever cherish all of the memories, the lessons, the late nights. I could’ve never thanked you enough for how amazing you really were. You will forever be in my heart, I know you will guide me throughout the rest of my life. You’d always say “even if I’m not here anymore, I’ll always be in your heart.” You will be in my heart and mind forever. I promise to make you proud. I promise to strive to be an amazing woman like you. I promise I’ll see you in heaven again one day. I love you today, tomorrow always. I miss you so much already. May you Rest In Paradise❤️
