It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bock Hyun Lee on August 4, 2021. He was the beloved husband to Young Ja, father to Young and Evan, father-in-law to Nina and Christina and proud grandfather to William, Charlotte, Andrew and Julia. He will also be dearly missed by many family members who continue to live in Seoul, South Korea.

Together with Young Ja, they successfully built a life in Canada over 50 years, raising a family and realizing a successful career in the food science and processing industry. He finished his career of over 30 years with Olymel L.P. as the General Manager and retired to enjoy an active and happy life that included family time, golf, gardening, hiking and time with his church community.

In memory of Bock and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Light Korean Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.

Funeral service will be hosted at the Light Korean Presbyterian Church (6965 Professional Court, Mississauga, ON. L4V 1Y3) on Monday August 9, 2021 at 11am. Following this service, he will be laid to rest at the Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, ON. L6Y 5L5) at 1pm.
